1. The PTA meeting this month is later than usual, because of the performance of “The Greatest Show.” The meeting will be Thursday, June 20, at 7 p.m. in the multipurpose room. We’ll have room to greet all our new AEA families.
Babysitting will be available, and we’ll have snacks too.
If you know a family that has been newly admitted to AEA, please invite them to join us. The PTA will have an updated version of our FAQ for new students, and we’ll attempt to answer questions as well. Plus you can meet the new board members!
2. Another way you can help us spread the word with new families: Let them know about 1st Day School Supplies! If we can get 50 school supply kits ordered this week, AEA will be in the running for a $2,500 prize! Even if we don’t win, just buying everything with one click from 1st Day School Supplies feels like a victory!
3. The Read-a-thon will officially close on Friday, June 7. You must have all donations in by then. As of this writing, the school had $8,975 in pledged donations — sooooo close to $9,000!
All student must also select their prizes by spending their “Ratbucks” by Friday. Maybe a fun activity for Thursday’s day off? Go to the student’s dashboard for the info.
