Dear AEA community,
AEA is such a special place, thanks in large part to family support that lets our faculty focus on the arts-centered curriculum they’re so passionate about. That’s why the PTA’s Annual Appeal is one of our most vital fundraising efforts, it helps bridge budget gaps so our students can thrive.
Donations are voluntary but tax-deductible, since the PTA of AEA is a 501(c)(3) organization. We invite you to become an AEA Star Giver by contributing $303 per family. Not everyone can give at that level, and any amount helps, we also encourage corporate matching gifts.
The PTA funds many of the experiences that make AEA special: the script for this year’s 4th grade play; the Global Classroom program for our 3rd graders; hot cocoa day before winter break; a Lunar New Year lion dance for all grades in 2026; and a shaved ice truck visit in June. We also support essential tools like Operoo, which keeps our community informed. Cool Culture passes, which launched last year, continue to give Pre-K to 3rd grade AEA families free access to 90+ city gardens, zoos, science centers, and arts institutions.
