Dear AEA community,
AEA is such a special place, thanks in large part to community support. The PTA’s Annual Appeal is one of our most important fundraising efforts, helping bridge budget gaps so our students can thrive.
Donations are voluntary and tax-deductible. We invite families to become AEA Star Givers with a gift of $303, but any amount makes a BIG difference. Corporate matching gifts are also encouraged.
PTA funds support the 5th grade capstone trip, the 4th grade play script rights, 3rd grade Global Classrooms, Pre-K through 2nd grade enrichment, schoolwide celebrations including Teacher Appreciation Week, Lion Dance, Hot Cocoa Day. We also fund everyday needs such as supplies for the nurse’s office, recess, and the cafeteria, along with tools like Forms & Flows (formerly Operoo) for schoolwide communications and Cool Culture passes, giving Pre-K through 3rd grade families free access to 90+ NYC cultural institutions!
