Let the Holidays Begin!
Happy holidays and winter solstice to everyone!
Wow, it is already December – a busy month to end the year with all the upcoming holidays! Regardless of how your family celebrates, we wish you a safe, joyous, and healthy holiday season full of light and love. Other than the holidays, here a few more things happening in December:
Our 1st family event of the school year will take place on December 11th, 2022. We will be watching Strange World at the Cinemart Cinema in Forest Hills. We have orders for over 200 tickets and are excited to share this time with our school community. If you are interested in joining us, we have a few tickets left. We will be sending home the tickets next week. We are looking forward to hosting more amazing family events – join us at our next meeting to discuss some of them.
This month’s PTA Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 8th @ 7pm via Zoom. Agenda and zoom information will be sent out shortly.
Join us in supporting our surrounding communities by participating in our Holiday Canned Food Drive from December 19-23. All food items donated will be given to Common Point Food Pantry, who helps support local families in need. Let’s come together and help fight against hunger this holiday season!

- December 6th – AEA Town Hall Safety Committee @7:40am (see Operoo email sent by school administration on 11/28 for virtual link)
- December 6th – Racial Equity Committee Meeting @7:30 pm (RSVP Here)
- December 7th – SLT meeting @ 7:30 am
- December 7th – Kindergarten application opens
- December 8th – PTA meeting @ 7pm
- December 26th – January 2nd -school closed
- January 3rd – School resumes
