Holiday Spirit Week
For this short week before the holidays, let’s show some holiday spirit! Cohorts B, C and D are invited to don their festive gear from hats to ugly sweaters to pajamas! Please see the schedule here.
Annual Holiday Collection
Final call to donate to our annual holiday gift collection for our teachers and staff! Thank you to those who have already contributed. We will be doing a final count on Mon, Dec 21 so we can purchase the gift cards and get them distributed to all our teachers and staff before everyone is off for the holidays. Middle School Enrollment Opens Week of January 11
For our 5th grade families, the DOE recently announced some changes to the middle school admissions process this year, which opens the week of January 11. This year, the DOE middle schools will not use academic records, auditions or other assessments to evaluate and admit students. Please see their letter for more details.
Kindergarten Applications
For those with children born in 2016, the kindergarten application is now open! The deadline to apply is January 19, 2021 with virtual sessions to learn about the admissions process starting on Tues, Dec 15 through mid-January. Please see the Chancellor’s letter for those session dates and additional details on how to apply.

As we close out this year, which has been long and challenging for many of us, we just want to thank all the families for pulling through with us and for your continued support! We will all be taking a break these next couple of weeks with the next email newsletter coming out on 1/10/2021.
