Announcing the Harvest Parade Bake Sale

One of the highlights of the PS303 year is back! The Harvest Costume Parade will be at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. Before the official event, please join the PTA of AEA for a bake sale on the 69th Avenue side of the school. In the past we’ve had lots of sweet treats to enjoy, and time for adults to socialize while we wait after drop-off for the students’ parade to begin.

We’ll need lots of bakers (or experienced baked-good buyers) to contribute items, as well as volunteers for helping staff the tables. We especially need help ensuring we have coffee for the event. If you’re on a first-name basis with a barista or coffee shop manager, please contact the PTA ASAP at 303pta@gmail.com. Or, even if not, if you’re a driver who wouldn’t mind helping deliver coffee that morning, please contact us as well.

Although this is a great opportunity to socialize, we ask that you be aware of each other’s pandemic boundaries and try to prevent from crowding.

Sign up to volunteer to help or to bring treats at this Signup Genius link. And if you’re just an eater, that’s great too! It’s a pay-what-you-wish event. And a really great opportunity to get together as a community. See you there!

(P.S. for parade details, see the yellow permission slip in your student’s folder. And don’t forget to return it before next Thursday.)
