BoxTops for Education: Thank you to everyone who sent in BoxTops! We collected almost 3,000 this period. A huge thank you to our counting and sorting volunteers: Jonathan Salazar, Vanessa Jacob, Gina Reis, Maria Scoloveno, and Lisa Yuen!
Harvest Parade: Our Harvest Parade is next Monday. Please be on time for school and arrive in costume! Children will report to their classrooms and then come back outside for the parade. While parents wait they can mingle and enjoy treats at our Harvest Bake Sale! If you have signed up to donate an item, please bring it to the tables outside of the gates at drop off on Monday.
Picture Day: School pictures will be taken next Tuesday, November 1 by Stomping Ground Photography.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Conferences are next Thursday, November 3 from 12:30-2:30 and 5:00-8:00pm. All students will be dismissed at 11:30. The PTA will be hosting a concession stand during all conferences in the Cafe. Please sign up to volunteer or donate bottles water here.
Mixed Bag Catalog: We hope your catalog sales are off to a great start! FIFTY percent of all sales comes back to our school! Please plan to submit all orders to the school ON November 8th and 9th.
Socks in the Box: The PTA of AEA, in joint efforts with several other local schools, will be hosting a sock drive the week of November 14. We want EVERY child to participate by donating a new pair of men’s, women’s or children’s socks to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless. Let’s warm the toes of thousands of less-fortunate New Yorkers this winter!
