This Week From PTA of AEA: Big Thanks!

We have reached the halfway mark on our annual appeal: More than 50 percent of AEA families have contributed to our biggest fundraiser of the year. Big thanks are in order. We’d love to reach 100 percent, of course! This campaign helps pay for students’ arts instruction, as well as supplemental math and reading resources. You can give via a check in your child’s folder or on PayPal using the donate button below. Let us know if you need a new donor form. Any amount is helpful!

Our next big fundraiser is designed to make your holiday shopping easier! The Shop with Scrip program allows you to buy gift cards from 100-plus merchants, with a percentage going back to the school. Forms will be sent out in students’ folders this week. There are two due dates, Nov. 15 for delivery before Hanukkah and Dec. 6 for delivery before Christmas. So go ahead and pick up a gift card for that hard-to-shop-for relative, or treat yourself in the name of helping P.S. 303!

Are you ready for the Harvest Parade? Please join us next week for one of our favorite events of the year. The students’ costume parade begins at 8:45 a.m. Oct. 31, but we’ll have coffee and treats at the PTA bake sale after drop-off. The signup form is almost full, but please feel free to contribute anything we may have missed! See you there!
