Get Ready for 2019-20 School Year

Thanks to everyone who turned out for our final PTA meeting of the year! You can find the minutes from the meeting here. And the FAQ sheet we handed out for new parents is here.

We wish we would have had more time to get to families’ questions. (What a crowd!) You can always send an email to 303pta@gmail.com or join our Facebook group to ask more. You’ll have to answer a few questions, to the best of your ability, to join that group.


DEADLINE FOR SCHOOL SUPPLY ORDERS IS SUNDAY!

The PTA of AEA partners with 1st Day School Supplies to provide the exact items teachers request for their classrooms. It is a fundraiser for the PTA, in addition to being an enormous convenience. The final deadline is June 30!

The program is voluntary, but has many benefits. All families have to do is click and pay. The boxes will be delivered to the school directly before classes starts. That allows teachers to label folders and notebooks in advance, and start teaching right away. Also, parents will not be allowed into the building on the first day or earlier to deliver supplies. So 1st Day School Supplies makes things easier on students as well.

And did we mention it’s a fundraiser for the PTA?
