Happy New Year to all! 2015 is here!
- Parent Math Workshop- Next Monday, January 12th @8:30am in the cafe’ at PS 303. Workshop led by our very own Laurie Rubel on the topic of addition and subtraction problem types (multiplication and division too, if there’s time!) and children’s solution strategies to those problem types. This will help parents better understand how to support their children’s mathematical thinking at home.
- Please join us for the AEA Parent Only Book Club, first meet up of this school year! Pride and Joy: A Guide to Understanding Your Child’s Emotions and Solving Family Problems by Kenneth Barish. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 8pm Sign up here so we know to expect you! Followed by Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand for February Book Club…now you have a head start!
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade families please send in your RSVP by this Wednesday to the Bedtime Story and Pajama Party Event on Tuesday, January 27th at 6pm! We are excited to meet Madeline Valentine and “George in the dark”!
- Our next PTA Meeting is this Thursday, January 8th 2015 @7pm. Many things to review for 2015!
- Start the year off right! Clock in some volunteer time! Please continue to sign up to be a lunchtime volunteer…your time and generosity is greatly appreciated. If you can’t make the whole time, no problem, try to make it in for 10:50am to help out with Pre-K lunch!
- The race is on! You have until the end of the month to collect as many BOXTOPS as you can for your class! Who wants a PS303 “Crazy Hair Day”???
