- Irvin Simon School photo re-take Picture day is scheduled for this Thursday, January 9th. If you would like a new photo taken of your child, please send in the unwanted packet by Wednesday 1/8/14. If your child was absent on the original picture day in October, their photo will be taken as well.

- The PTA of AEA is very excited and pleased to announce children’s book author and illustrator Elisha Cooper is visiting PS 303 next Thursday, January 16, 2014.. Elisha Cooper’s most recent title, Train, will be presented to our children by the author and illustrator himself. The PTA of AEA is thrilled to offer our families the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Train by Elisha Cooper that your child can have as a keepsake of this wonderful experience. The Scholastic hardcover 12×9 inch book will be autographed by Elisha during his school visit next week. If you would like to have your very own signed copy/ copies of Train, please send in cash or a check made out to PTA of AEA for $11.00 by Friday, January 10th. Please enclose the check or cash in an envelope addressed to the PTA of AEA/author visit. Please fill out who you would like the book (s) signed to, first name only.
