Hope everyone is doing well these last couple weeks before summer! A happy Juneteenth for our families who celebrate! The school will have daily activities this week leading to Juneteenth; here are additional resources from FACE for those interested.
Also, the administration has officially announced that the after school program, Wingspan Arts, will not be returning to the school in the fall and for families to look into other alternatives. We know this is not an ideal situation for many families so if you’d like to connect with other families over the summer to discuss ideas for after school activities, please email the PTA at 303pta@gmail.com for a sign-up link.
Picture Day Vendor Survey
Did you like your child’s photo from Picture Day this year? Do you hate it and want to go with another vendor? Let us know your opinion so the PTA can decide which vendor to use for Picture Day next year! Please take a moment to fill out this short, anonymous survey to give us your feedback.
Gifted & Talented (G&T) Survey
The CEC asks families to fill out the G&T survey even if your child never took the G&T test. They would like to get an idea of how parents are thinking about the G&T program. Please fill out by June 17.
NYC School Survey
A reminder to please fill out the NYC School Survey here by Friday, June 18. (In the access code text box, enter the letter “f” followed by your child’s nine-digit Student ID (OSIS) number). Every year, families and teachers in grades 3-K through 12 and students in grades 6–12 across NYC share their thoughts on their experiences in and out of the classroom over the past school year. It’s important for everyone to fill this out for our school so we can get the valuable feedback!

CEC Election Results
The results of the Citywide and Community Education Council (CCEC) Elections have been announced! 3 former CEC members were re-elected with 6 new CEC members joining. The Same School Rule (SSR) bumped out 3 former CEC members despite high votes. The representatives are from MS157/PS196, PS144, PS121, MS358, PS101, PS312, PS40/JHS008 and MS217. Please see the Chancellor’s letter for more details.
