We are kicking off November with one extra hour of sleep for Daylight Savings. We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! We have a bunch of things happening for the month of November, so please make sure to stay up to date with the PTA and also with AEA.
Election Day is tomorrow, exercise your right to VOTE! ALL students will be fully remote on November 3rd. Students should not be reporting to school buildings.
Parent Teacher Conferences
P/T conferences will be held virtually on Thurs, Nov 5 and will be a half-day only for students; dismissal is at 11am. These conferences are 10 minute Zoom appointments with your main teacher (5 minutes with specialty / cluster teachers) that you need to sign up for via Sign Up Genius. These sign-up links should have been sent out on Friday so if you have not received the links, please contact your “homeroom”/class teacher ASAP. These tend to be booked quickly but you can always schedule an individual appointment if you were unable to sign up.
Opt-in for Blended Learning
The DOE announced that there will now only be one opportunity to opt into blending learning for the rest of the school year. Families who have previously chosen remote-only learning will have the opportunity to opt into blended learning for the remainder of the school year starting November 2 through November 15. Please use this survey to opt into blended learning if you are interested.
