Little Pump Books: This week you will be receiving an order form for Little Pulp drawing books. These personalized books make fantastic holiday gifts! Frank Kiernan the owner and parent at our school has offered to donate 40% of all sales back to the PTA of AEA.
Pajama Drive ends 12/15/17: Donate new pajamas with tags; Scholastic will match each pair of pjs with a storybook for kids in need.
Toys for Tots Drive ends 12/18/17: Donate new, packaged, unwrapped toys.
Penny Drive ends 12/22/17: Mrs. Flood has put our school in touch with Pennies for Patients benefitting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The idea is for the children in K-3 to come home from school with little boxes that they will collect pennies in. There is also an online fundraising component if parents wish to go in that direction too, details were on the flier that came home with the collection box.
Over 300 schools participate in this charity drive and now our school is one of them! Our school-wide goal is $750. The drive will run until 12/22/17. We hope that all of the kids participate so they can see just how far one small penny can go towards helping other sick kids.
