Wishing a Happy Hanukkah this week to all our families who celebrate!
We are back in school on Monday! As mentioned in the administration’s letter, Cohorts B and C will be back in school for the week starting Mon, Dec 7 with Cohort A coming back the following week starting Mon, Dec 14. They will follow the cohort schedule that was sent previously. Families in Cohort D for full remote learning will continue to learn remotely full time.
Important Reminder: For those students returning to school, you MUST submit a testing consent form if you haven’t already. Students will not be permitted to return to school without a form on file. Please see the DOE email for instructions and details. (Note that Pre-K and Kindergarten students are exempt from this mandate.) Furthermore, please don’t forget to check your child’s temperature in the morning daily and remember to fill out the health screen survey.
December PTA General Meeting
The next PTA general meeting will be held this Thurs, Dec 10 at 7pm. We will have some special guests joining us that evening: 2 of our cluster teachers, Ms. Ahamad and Mrs. O’Driscoll! They will be attending to introduce themselves to our families and talk about what they are teaching at AEA. If you have any questions for them, we ask that you please email them to us beforehand at the address below so they can address them during their remarks.
In addition, we will be discussing how to go about holiday gifts to teachers and staff now that we don’t have class parents, and what the PTA will be working on for the spring.
