We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable long Thanksgiving weekend!
As you may have seen, the DOE has announced that schools will reopen in early December. Please look for an official notice from the administration on specific details for our school opening. In the meantime, please see the notice from the administration on the Dec-Jan cohort schedule sent last week. As noted, this coming week will continue to be full remote for all students.
A reminder that in order for any student to return to school, they will need a signed consent form for in-school testing. The DOE is asking that even if you have already provided consent via NYCSA or a paper form to submit it again to ensure they have the most up to date form on file. Please see their notice here for details.
Please see below for additional announcements and reminders:

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the mask chain fundraiser and to Ms. Weissbach who tirelessly handmade the chains to support our community! Please stay tuned for an email from the PTA for those of you who ordered mask chains. Now that school will reopen we will reach out to let you know when to pick up your order.
Annual Appeal
Thank you again to those who contributed! If you’d still like to contribute, you may do so in the following ways:
- Online via Paypal
- Personal check: return with this form filled out in a sealed envelope marked “PTA Annual Appeal” in your child’s backpack or send by mail to the address at the bottom of this email.
Small Business Promotions
As this pandemic continues, we recognize that some of our community members may have been hit harder than others, especially those who are small business owners. We would like to continue to support those in our community who are small business owners by inviting them to reach out to the PTA directly at 303pta@gmail.com with their business contact information and details. We will pull together a catalog of all the small businesses owned by members of the community and send out to the whole school. This is not meant as an endorsement but just as information sharing for parents who want to support other parents. A final reminder to please send us this information by Fri, December 4.
December PTA General Meeting
The next PTA general meeting will be held on Thurs, Dec 10 at 7pm. Please see here for details and to RSVP. If there are specific topics or questions you’d like to address during the meeting, please let us know through the RSVP form or email us directly, thanks! For those who may be new the PTA, please see details in the Welcome Packet part 1 and 2.
